THE HARDWARE

Virtually all my work is still shot on film using Rolleiflexes and a Mamiya 6 with Ilford Delta 400 processed in Pyro, although I do occasionally work digitally using either a Canon EOS 350D or a G12.

For platinum or photogravure prints (rather than toned gelatin silver prints) the original film is scanned and edited in Photoshop and then output as large format inkjet negatives or positives, suitable for contact.

THE APPLICATIONS

I built and maintain this website and weblog using Apple computers and a variety of software that includes Dreamweaver, CSSEdit, Wordpress, Text Wrangler and Transmit. It was designed to look its best primarily in Safari.

Hosting is by Machighway, a company that offers incomparable hosting and technical support and is 100% wind powered.
